A tenured professor, speaker, writer, leader, and creative, Dr. Jay Richard Akkerman is cultivating the lifelong craft of spiritual anthropology: learning to navigate one's walk with God. With interests in ministry, communication, discovery, technology, and design, Jay engages widely across multiple channels -- online, on campus, and at various church, education, and creative venues. Jay and his wife Kim have three young adult daughters and make their home in Nampa, Idaho.
